3D Printing

CERIX - The Market Leader in Industrial 3D Printing for Technical Ceramics

The highly innovative 3D printing technology at CERIX is perfectly suited to produce components that are fully operational in a fast and straightforward way. The process only needs a CAD model, which leads to much shorter development times (Time-To-Market). For manufacturing functional prototypes, ceramic 3D printing is the best choice. In addition, CERIX has further developed 3D printing, making even high-precision series production possible. We have therefore become the market leader in industrial 3D printing.

Highly Complex Products with Unique Manufacturing Techniques

3D printing, a variant of additive manufacturing, can achieve unique geometeries: internal channels, complex grids, even undercuts are feasible with 3D printing. The results are completely new design possibilities for future-oriented products. CERIX is thereby able to realize new opportunities for manufacturing Technical Ceramics. Contrary to traditional manufacturing processes, 3D printing does not need any tooling - no other process can deal so flexibly with geometry modifications and small volume production.

Outstanding Technology in Use at CERIX

In contrast to the traditional 3D process, CERIX uses a special technology, which is able to create high-density components. This is especially important, since a higher density enhances the mechanical properties of Technical Ceramics. Using LCM (Lithografic Ceramic Manufacturing), fully operational components can be produced that are comparable with tradionally manufactured ceramic products.

Functional Ceramics

Excellent mechanical properties from dense microstructures

Freedom of Design

Flexible designs without tool investments

Highly Complex Geometries

3D Printing with Technical Ceramics

Your Model

The 3D printer only needs a CAD model (step file) to manufacture the components.

We take care of your product, designing a component which is appropriate for the material and manufacturing process.

The component design is realized by using ultraviolet light to harden the layers of ceramic suspension.

Unhardened suspension is removed from the component.

Thermal Process

The component achieves its final stability during deburring and sintering.

Quality Assurance

We check your component according to your requirements – a 100% check or random samples.
